What we do
- Hyper-V and failover cluster design on Windows Server, with storage spaces or a SAN
- Management with System Center Virtual Machine Manager or Windows Admin Center
- Migrations from VMware and physical servers
- Backup integration, patching with cluster-aware updating, and monitoring
Typical projects
- A two-node cluster for a branch office replacing ageing standalone servers
- Moving off VMware for estates already licensed for Windows Server Datacenter
Microsoft Hyper-V is a trademark of its owner. ServerWorks is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by its owner.
Questions
Is Hyper-V good enough for production?
Yes, for most business workloads, and often cheaper where Windows Server Datacenter is already licensed.
Do we need SCVMM?
For larger estates it helps; small clusters run well with Windows Admin Center.
