What we do
- Implementation: cluster design and installation on bare metal, VMware or OpenStack, or in the cloud; networking, ingress and routes, persistent storage, identity from Active Directory or LDAP, projects, quotas, the image registry, monitoring and logging, then a handover to your team
- Management: day-to-day administration of nodes, operators, certificates, backups and capacity; minor and major upgrades, planned and tested before production
- Technical support: monitoring and alerts, troubleshooting, and raising and following Red Hat support cases on your subscription; 24×7 for production clusters under a support contract
- Moving applications onto OpenShift: containerising them, build and deployment pipelines, and moves from plain Kubernetes or from an older OpenShift version
Typical projects
- A first production cluster: design, build, one pilot application, then handover with runbooks
- A cluster several versions behind: a health check, then upgrades in planned steps

Questions
Do we need a Red Hat subscription?
Yes: OpenShift is licensed by Red Hat. We work with your subscription, or help you size one.
OpenShift or plain Kubernetes?
OpenShift is a complete, vendor-supported platform with a licence cost; plain Kubernetes costs nothing to license, but your team assembles and supports more of it. We compare both for your applications and team.
Can you take over a cluster someone else built?
Yes, after a health check.
